I will never look at a Cinnabon the same way again thanks to the cast of Face Off at ImprovBoston. I’m very happy that I went out and saw a show even though no one came with me. I was pleasantly surprised that there were several people at IB who were actually excited to see me. That is a really awesome feeling. I’ve always felt like a complete outsider at IB, even after my troupe became a house team. It just seemed like they were all so talented and best friends with each other and I could never hope to break into that. But I’ve decided that I do want to perform more and IB is an amazing theatre. I know that with some more training and encouragement I could really be an asset to the theatre. So I signed up for ImprovBoston auditions. I know there is almost no chance of me getting a callback, much less making a cast, but it is worth the experience and getting my name out there. How else will I ever hope to be taken seriously as an improviser?
